About us

Bako Landscaping has been providing outstanding service in Northeast Ohio since 1962. We are fully insured and provide a variety of services including landscaping, lawn maintenance, hardscaping, snowplowing and Ohio hardy plants in our nurseries.

Owner’s Sandor and Kathy Bako escaped Hungary in 1956 during the Revolution. In the United States they worked hard to raise and support a family of five daughters. Each daughter contributing to the success of this family business, one bucket of rocks and one bale of straw at a time. While Sandor has retired, his daughter and son-in-law have taken over the reigns of the family business, with hopes to pass it on to their children.

Our family and business have been blessed and we want to thank all of our customers for their commitment to Bako Landscaping.

Our services

Spring Clean-up: Removal of leaves, branches and dead plant material from lawn and foundation bed areas. Spade and/or machine edging and mulching of foundation beds and tree ring.
Lawn maintenance: Bako landscaping services residential, commercial properties, condominium associations as well as government properties. Seasonal contracts available for easier annual budgeting.
Landscape design and Install: Whether you are in need of a full landscape project or enhancing your existing, Bako Landscaping will bring together your ideas and new ones to show your homes full potential.
Hardscape/Landscape Construction: Enhance your outside living with a new Patio, Walkway, Retaining wall and Firepit.
Nursery: Bako Landscaping grows and maintains 15 acres Evergreens.
Snowplowing: Plowing driveways, parking lots and shoveling sidewalks as well as salting services available.
Drainage Swales: Evaluation and installation of pvc piping, perforated drain pipe and catch basins.
